The Avoca Group® Announces Jeff Kasher as Executive Chair of the Avoca Quality Consortium®

The Avoca Group announced today that Dr. Jeff Kasher has assumed the role of Executive Chair for the Avoca Quality Consortium (AQC), its member-based industry collaborative focused on driving efficiency, improving quality, and mitigating risk in clinical trial execution. The AQC is comprised of clinical operations, quality, and outsourcing professionals from over 90 pharma, biotech, CROs, and clinical service providers. As the Executive Chair, Dr. Kasher will guide the strategic direction of AQC initiatives and help The Avoca Group achieve its vision of driving positive industry change through the AQC. Dr. Kasher will serve as a liaison between Member organizations and the AQC to ensure that AQC deliverables exceed expectations and drive innovation and quality in the clinical trial ecosystem.
A pharmaceutical development change expert of nearly 30 years, Dr. Kasher’s expertise includes novel product development from bench through market launch, research and clinical trial leadership, innovation center start-up, as well as new industry paradigm creation. He is passionate about improving outcomes, bringing patients and research sites into the development process, and dramatically decreasing time to market. Dr. Kasher is the former Vice President of Clinical Innovation and Implementation at Eli Lilly, and Founder and President of Patients Can’t Wait.
