Since its inception in 2011, the Avoca Quality Consortium® (AQC) has been committed to furthering education, expanding awareness, and fostering engagement among sponsors, CROs, and technical clinical service providers. The AQC is a member-based pre-competitive collaborative comprised of over 80 Member companies.

The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP), the premier education and networking event for clinical research professionals, brings the clinical research community together to learn, connect, and explore opportunities to improve operations and promote excellence in clinical research.

In August 2017, the AQC and the ACRP announced a new strategic partnership aimed at driving quality, efficiency, and collaboration in clinical research while mitigating risk throughout the entire clinical trial ecosystem – from sponsors to providers to investigative sites, and ultimately patients.

On April 27, 2018, the two will co-sponsor a full-day program, 2018 Quality Congress, in conjunction with the ACRP Annual Meeting, ACRP 2018.

The 2018 Quality Congress will offer participants an unparalleled view of the changing clinical trial landscape and hear transformational approaches to improving clinical research quality. The program is designed for participants to gain practical knowledge and experience that can be incorporated and communicated across their organization through a variety of interactive sessions.

The 2018 Quality Congress will also create critical, new collaborative engagements across all stakeholder groups that will spearhead enhanced quality across the clinical trial ecosystem.
