Development and Enhancement of CRO/Sponsor Partnerships

Avoca has supported sponsors and service providers to establish best in class governance and strategic approaches to building and maintaining strong alliances. This includes leveraging over 250 leading practices, tools, and templates built as part of the Avoca Quality Consortium, in addition to Avoca’s industry research on trends and critical components for strategic partnerships. Each consulting project is started by gaining an understanding of both the Sponsor and CRO’s perceptions and expectations to maximize satisfaction of the outcome by both parties.

Quality Metrics

As part of the work of the Avoca Quality Consortium, Avoca has researched, assessed, and analyzed industry approaches to measuring quality, resulting in a new way for CROs to improve their Metrics Programs: A taxonomy, framework, and specific Quality Metrics that are tied to quality outcomes.

With a focus on enhancing the effectiveness of reviews, analyses, communications, and other processes surrounding quality metrics, Avoca helps CROs improve their measurement approach and draw meaningful, actionable conclusions that improve project outcomes for their customers.

Development of Exceptional Performance by CRO Study Teams

Avoca provides consulting support to help CROs identify factors that may be preventing study teams from satisfying their customers at the highest level. We develop best practices for operating within the Sponsor/CRO relationship and work with the CRO study teams to enhance performance on relationship basics, developing best practices, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Development of Programs to Proactively Identify and Manage Risk

Avoca creates systems for understanding, in a detailed and quantitative fashion, the relationships between process quality, process adherence and other risk-related variables and outcomes. Avoca assists CRO staff in developing processes for managing toward desired outcomes in a rational, risk-sensitive manner.
